Today I am going to explain to you "What is Data science ? " and "What is Big Data" and "What is Data Analytics ?" and "What are the differences between them ?"

 So lets Start..........







  • Data Science is the combination of Machine learning , Algorithms , Mathematics , Statistics and their Programming.
  • Data Science is the way to analyze a Big problem and provide a efficient solution to it.
  • With Data Science, We can predicts future based on past data using AI and Machine Learning algorithms.
  • The Goal of Data Science is to provide hidden patterns and co-relations of a complex problem.
  • Average Salary of a Data Scientist is $125,000/year


Skills required To become Data Scientist :-


  • Machine learning
  • Deep learning
  • Statistical and Analytical skills
  • Deep Knowledge of Programming
  • SQL/Database Coding
  • SAS (Statistical Analysis System) / R Programming Coding




  • Big Data is something that refers to study and application of  extremely large volume of Data and Data Sets.
  • Our traditional data-processing application can't deal with large amount of Data.
  • In Big Data , 4 main concepts are used - volume,variety,velocity,veracity
  • Average Salary of a Big Data Professional is $97,000/year

Characteristics of Big Data :-


  • Volume :-  refers to how much data is generated and stored.
  • Velocity :-  refers the speed in which Data is processed and generated.
  • Variety :- The type and nature of the Data.
  • Veracity :-  How much noise is in the Data i.e uncertainty,ambiguities ,and variations in the Data.

Skills required to become Big Data Professional :-

  • Technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive
  • Familiar with MATLAB 
  • Programming Skills
  • SQL/Database coding
  • Data Visualization




  • Data Analytics is a process in which a data analyst take data from various resources and provide better user experience.
  • With Data Analytics We enhance the interface of data and display it in a better way.
  • Data Analytics = Analyze Data + provide conclusion
  • Average Salary of a Data Analyst is $66,000 /year.
